Jimmy Russo

I’m Jimmy Russo, a Content Editor at Hennessey Digital. I started my career as a technical recruiter after receiving my Bachelor’s degree in English, but quickly tired of the sales grind and went back to what I do well – writing. I was a freelance SEO writer for a few years before focusing on the video game niche. I was a video game journalist for FortniteTracker.com, Dexerto, and Jaxon.gg before joining the Hennessey team. I still game, but now only for the enjoyment of it.

As you can expect from my professional background, I’m still an avid gamer. Most of the time, you can find me at my computer trying (and failing) to grind my way out of Silver in any competitive game. I also enjoy reading and watching TV/movies in my free time, along with making YouTube videos and practicing drums.

More than anything, I love to learn new skills. Whenever I find a topic that interests me, I obsess over it until I know everything there is to know. Ask me about mechanical keyboards if you want to hear the proof of this claim.
